Student KITAS is suitable for students who are going to study abroad in Indonesia. The prospective student needs to contact us with a responsible person from the university or institute. We can start the process even if you are outside of Indonesia, if you are already in Indonesia we can get Student KITAS if your institution is in Bali or in Jakarta.

Are you in Bali or in Jakarta? 

We can start the Onshore Process by converting to Student KITAS from your current visa once you are already in Indonesia. The exception is Visa on Arrival (VoA), which cannot be converted to KITAS. If you are overseas, please proceed to the chapter on obtaining a Student KITAS through the Offshore Process.

Required Documents (from student):

• Passport Main Page (18 months Validity);
• Bank Statement of Applicant or Guarantor minimum (USD 2.000);
• Recommendation from Educational Department;
• Copy of Parents Passports;
• Copy of Birth Certificate (translated into English or Indonesian and notarized or legalized);
• Copy of Insurance for a year;
• Diploma or Graduation Certificate (translated into English or Indonesian and notarized or legalized);
• Photo on a Red Background 2×3, 3×4, 4×6, 6 pieces each (hard copy).

Institution Documents (from education organization):

• Sponsor and Guarantee Letter;
• Copy of the License of Institution;
• Copy of Identification Document of Institution’s Director.

Are you outside of Indonesia?

Let’s start the Offshore Process if you haven’t come to Indonesia yet. If you are currently in Bali or Jakarta, please proceed to the chapter on obtaining a Student KITAS through the Onshore Process.

We will help you issue a student visa to come to Indonesia. Within 30 days of arrival, the visa must be converted to a Student KITAS at the local immigration office. We submit documents only in Bali or Jakarta; on other islands you do it yourself.

Required Documents (from student):

• Passport Main Page (18 months Validity);
• Bank Statement of Applicant or Guarantor minimum (USD 2.000);
• Recommendation from Educational Department;
• Color Self-Photo (soft copy);
• Complete Vaccination Certificate;
• Copy of Parents Passports;
• Copy of Birth Certificate (translated into English or Indonesian and notarized or legalized);
• Copy of Insurance for a year;
• Diploma or Graduation Certificate (translated into English or Indonesian and notarized or legalized).

Institution Documents (from education organization):

• Sponsor and Guarantee Letter;
• Copy of the License of Institution;
• Copy of Identification Document of Institution’s Director.

Conversion to KITAS (after arrival to Indonesia):

• Photo on a Red Background 2×3, 3×4, 4×6, 6 piece each (hard copy);
• All above documents in hard copy.

Prices for Student KITAS C316 for 6 months and 1 year (offshore process):

We can do Student KITAS if you are currently not in Indonesia. Look at the Total Fee column. This will be the final price for you. Please note that we are not looking for an institution for clients. 

Process duration

• Onshore KITAS/Conversion from ITK (B211A) to KITAS process will take approximately 4-6 weeks.
• Offshore process will take approximately 2-4 weeks.

About Student KITAS

• Student visa is multiple entry.
• You need to start extension 2 months prior to expiration or start the KITAS closure process 2 weeks prior via EPO.
