A foreigner married to an Indonesian spouse can receive Family KITAS. You can get KITAS only for 1 year, an extension for 1 or 2 years is possible. After 2 years of marriage, you can convert KITAS to 5 year KITAP.

Required Documents (from Applicant):

• Bank Statement of Applicant or Guarantor minimum (USD 2.000);
• Sponsor and Guarantee Letter;
• Passport Main Page (18 months Validity);
• Certificate of Birth (translated into English or Indonesian and notarized or legalized);
• Color Self-Photo;
• Marriage Certificate (AKTA Perkawinan)/Marriage Report from Embassy (translated into English or Indonesian and notarized or legalized);
• Original Domicile Letter from Banjar or SKTT (Proof of Residence);

 Required Documents (from Indonesian Spouse):

• Certificate of Birth;
• Family Card (Kartu Keluarga/KK);
• Tax Registry (NPWP);
• Copy of Bank Statement (USD 2000);
• Indonesian Marriage Certificate;
• Copy of ID/KTP and Domicile Letter (If not from Bali);
• CNI Letter from Embassy.

Steps to get Family Spouse KITAS Onshore:

• Submit all the requirement documents and register your Family KITAS in Local Immigration Office;
• Bring your passport and all copies of the required documents to our office, we will process them at the Local Immigration Office and obtain a KITAS re-entry permit;
• You will be needed to attend for Biometric (Photo and Fingerprint) in Immigration Office during this process;
• You will receive your Passport back and Family KITAS permit.

• Color Self-Photo;
• Marriage Certificate (AKTA Perkawinan)/Marriage Report from Embassy (translated into English or Indonesian and notarized or legalized);
• Complete Vaccination Certificate.

Steps to get Family Spouse KITAS Offshore:

• Submit all the requirement documents and register your Family Visa in Directorate General of Immigration;
• After arriving in Indonesia, we need to convert the Visa to KITAS within 30 days. Bring your passport and all copies of the required documents to our office, we will process them at the Local Immigration Office and obtain a KITAS re-entry permit;
• You will be needed to attend for Biometric (Photo and Fingerprint) in Immigration Office during this process;
• You will receive your Passport back and Family KITAS permit.

Process duration

• Onshore KITAS/Conversion from ITK (B211A) to KITAS process will take approximately 4-6 weeks.
• Offshore process will take approximately 2-4 weeks.

About Family Spouse KITAS

• Family Spouse visa is multiple entry.
• You need to start extension 2 months prior to expiration or start the KITAS closure process 2 weeks prior via EPO.
