Retirement KITAS assumes the whole process only upon arrival in Indonesia, it cannot be started while abroad. You will need a number of papers that you can only get in Bali.

Keep in mind that only a licensed agency can be a sponsor for your Retirement KITAS, you will not be able to change it in the future, so carefully approach the question with whom you will make KITAS/KITAP renewals in the next 5-10 years.

2 steps to release KITAS:
1) Our agency submits documents to the local immigration office.
2) After some time, we invite you to this department for a photo and fingerprints. A little later you will receive a KITAS and a note about it in your passport.

Retirement KITAS is issued for a period of 1 year, it can be extended for 1 year each time, with a maximum of 4 renewals. Then you can get a 5-year KITAP.

It is better to start KITAS extension 3-4 weeks before the expiration date. For extension it is necessary to collect the same package of documents as for registration of a new KITAS. If you have changed your passport, then you first need to make a passport mutasi. If the address of residence has changed, then mutasi the address.

After 5 years, KITAS can be converted to KITAP with a 5-year stay.
